Okay, I just came here to blab. I poured myself a cup of coffee this morning. I added a teaspoon of salted butter (cause that makes it bulletproof coffee, right?) It tastes awful. I can’t drink it like this. Who invented this stuff anyway. So I added two bags of chai tea. There is no sweetener of any kind in the tea. Just some spices, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pepper. I can drink it now, at least one cup.

Yesterday I started my fast at 2pm and drink 2 liters of water after my 1084 calorie day.

On the assumption that it was my creamer and sweetener in my coffee that was stalling my weight loss for the last two months I am doing without them (hold on tight cause I love my coffee thick, creamy and sweet) My present weight is 220.8 (just weighed)

I spent most of yesterday watching videos on gut bacteria, artificial sweeteners, fasting, the crappy USDA, and how they sold us out. It seems that many sweeteners, even though they illicit no insulin response do damage gut bacteria and deter hormone responses.

The more I read, listen to videos, and study, the more I am coming to the conclusion that if your food comes in a bag or box that has a bar code you shouldn’t be putting it in your mouth. If you couldn’t pluck it straight from a garden or cut your own steak, or thigh off of it for dinner you shouldn’t call it food. All this after I spent a couple hundred dollars on protein powder, super green powder, super red powder, and vitamins. SMH

I am the last person on the planet who would tell you how to eat though. Obviously at 220.8 pounds I don’t have a clue. I’m here to share my journey and to read about how you are succeeding, or like me failing to hit your goals. I want to read your inspiration and learn from your mistakes. I love this group.

So I am fasting until — I don’t even know, let’s just see how it goes today. So far I am at 18 hours. How long can I hold out?
